Straganzhof shares its history with the famous Austrian painter Franz v. Defregger, the great uncle of today’s owner Joachim Defregger. Franz v. Defregger, who is known mostly for his genre and history paintings, left his traces on Iselsberg and on Ederplan. Read more about the history of Franz v. Defregger here.
